Privacy policy

The grant pages are static and do not ask you to create an account. If you join the weekly email, we store the address you submit and any state or owner types you choose to add.

Who this covers

This policy is for the operator of Grants This Week. The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It does not ask for a Social Security number, a bank account, or a credit card.

The signup

When you submit the form, the site sends the fields to /api/subscribe. A valid signup is stored in Cloudflare D1, which is a database on Cloudflare’s network. The row holds your email, the optional state, the optional owner types, and the time you signed up. If you submit the same email again, the row is updated instead of duplicated.

The form includes a honeypot field that people do not see. If that field is filled, the request is ignored and nothing is stored.

Why we store it

The only purpose is to send the weekly grant list once the operator turns sending on. Sending is not connected yet. If it is connected later, the message would go through an email provider such as Resend, and that provider would process the address to deliver the mail. Until then, the address stays in the database and no message is sent.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the operator deletes the list. Write tosponsor@grantsthisweek.pages.dev from the signed-up address.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will replace this page. The grant data itself is public information about programs, not about you.
